Sheperd (nee Tepper), 90, of Beachwood, passed away on March 13,2024
Born on September 7, 1933 to Mary and Albert Tepper, Roslyn graduated
from Shaker Heights High School and attended the University of Miami, Coral
Gables, FL. Music was the background to Roslyn’s life. She became an
accomplished classical pianist at a young age and played all types of music
by ear. An extraordinary gardener, summers were spent outdoors cultivating her
flowers, plants and trees. She kept a beautiful home and loved to end a
summer day with a barbecue and alfresco dining for family and friends.
Roslyn was a loving mother to JoAnn and Michael, an adoring
grandmother to Lindsay and a doting aunt to her many nieces and
nephews. We will all miss tremendously her feisty spirit, love of family and
sense of humor. Roslyn is survived by her daughter JoAnn Sheperd (Mike Humphrey) of
Tucson, AZ; son Michael Sheperd of Mayfield Hts.; granddaughter Lindsay
Laemmel (William) of Tucson; sister Audrey Berman Koblitz (Kenny);
special niece Stacy Chernett (Kevin) and children of Chicago; nephew
Scott Berman (Melissa) and children of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and
beloved cat Baby Kitty. A private service will be held at a later date. Contributions in her memory
may be made to the Jewish National Fund (www.jnf.org) or Valley Save-APet (valleysaveapet.org).
