Marvin was a beloved figure in Cleveland's cycling community, left behind a legacy of dedication and passion for bicycles. He was the cherished husband of Celia Rosenberg (nee Balsam) and a loving father to Michael Rosenberg. Marvin was a devoted brother to Hilda Rosenberg and the late Eugene Rosenberg.
Marvin's career in the bicycle business spanned over 50 years. He first opened his bike shop on Lakeview in the Glenville neighborhood in the mid-fifties. Later, he operated Pee Wee's Cycle Shop on Mayfield Rd. in Cleveland Heights. In the late 60s, Marvin moved his business to Coventry, continuing to foster a love for cycling among local residents. In the 80s, he opened Hi-Tech Cycles on Lee Rd., across from Cain Park.
Services to honor Marvin's life will be held on Friday, June 14 at 9:30 AM at Zion Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 5461 Northfield Rd., Bedford Heights. Family and friends are invited to join in commemorating Marvin's life and legacy.
Following the service, the family will receive friends at the home of Anne Lukas until 3:00 PM, providing an opportunity to share memories, offer condolences, and celebrate Marvin’s life. Marvin's legacy of love, dedication to his craft, and community spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.
