Our deepest sympathy to all of you. She was a loving and great teacher to my son and always made you feel special .

I had a pleasure in knowing Joanne, even though it was a short time.  I was her caregiver for one and a half years.  Even though through the time of suffering, Joanne still had humor to make you laugh. I am honored to have been there to the very end. I believe that is how Joanne would have wanted.  I remembered there was a time I would come to give her care.  I would say hi mama, she would reply, please don't call me that and I say I'm sorry Joanne and she would that's okay.  Then one Joanne starts to say mama.  I say Joanne, honey mama only lives in your heart and she continued to say mama over and over so from that point on when ever she would say mama. I replied yes dear everything is okay I promise and she would close her eyes peacefully and rest. At the last few hours of her life, Joanne called mama and I say yes dear everything is okay and that's when received her wings to Heaven.  I will surely miss my Lil mamama.  RIP Joanne Paller

I send you all my deepest condolences on your lass of Joanne.  She was a very special person...a fine, innovative, caring and stimulating teacher.  It was great fun for students to have her as their teacher.  She surely was among the best of Lander teachers. 

Marv, I hope you are doing okay.  My thoughts are with you.
