Etty Eisen de Spiwak (Ettel bat Gittel v Nahum) passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024 with her family and Rabbi Kirsch surrounding her with love, psalms, words of Torah, and songs, including Hatikvah.
She was born on 10/26/1952 in Bogotá, Colombia to her beautiful parents Nahum Spiwak of Ukraine and Gutta Knorpel of Poland. She is survived by her daughters Johanna (and Grant) Cohen, Amy (and Harrie) Bakst and her life partner Jaime Eisen. She lived for her beautiful grandchildren Maya and Ethan Cohen and Judy and Ari Bakst. She was also survived by her siblings Boris Z’l (and Susana) Spiwak, Jose (and Sarita) Spiwak, Angel (and Jaffa) Spiwak and Frida (and Marky z”l) Spiwak, sisters-in-law Jeanette Eisen and Susana Eisen and countless nieces, nephews, cousins in laws, and friends.
She lived her life deeply passionate about Israel, helping others, and doing mitzvahs.
Funeral will be at 11 am on December 13 at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel at 1985 South Taylor Road in Cleveland Height followed by internment at Mount Olive Solon.

Shiva will be observed immediately following interment for two hours on Dec. 13 at 695 Beacon Hill Drive Chagrin Falls OH 44022. Shiva will be Sunday to Wednesday 1-3 and Monday and Tuesday 7-8 pm. Minyan will be at Chabad Solon as follows: Friday- 5pm, Saturday- 11 am and 130 pm, Sunday- 830am and 445pm, Monday to Thursday- 7:30 am and 6pm.
