Betty Shirley Bresler, nee Franklin age 94. Betty passed away peacefully with her family by her side in New York City. Betty Shirley Bresler is the beloved and cherished wife of 60 years to the late Lazarre "Jerry" Bresler; devoted and adored mother of Jill Bresler (Robert Krieger) of NYC and Debbie Bresler (Merwyn Andrade) of NYC and the late Eric Bresler (Theresa "Winkie" Mazack); loving grandmother of Anna Bresler, Alex Bresler and Eli Bresler; Dear sister of the following deceased Ruth Brondfield and Irwin "Red" Franklin; dearest daughter of Anna and Louis Franklin both deceased. Betty was her husband's business partner in a boat dealership and later as estate jewelry dealers. A graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and attended Ohio University. Services will be held Thursday December 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 South Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends following interment at 26600 George Zeiger Dr. Bldg. 6, (Social Room), Beachwood. Thursday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
