She was born February 9, 1923 in Macon, GA a daughter of Dr. Robert Hugh (a prominent dentist) and Eula Roberts Mabry. They lived on Beach Avenue where she was born and raised. She married Floyd Wightman Crouch on July 20, 1950 at Tattnall Square Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death in 1995.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Hugh, Herbert, and Fred.
Surviving are one son Floyd (Carolyn) Crouch of Clemmons; three grandsons, Dustin (Christy) Crouch of Lexington, Matthew (Amy) Crouch of Raleigh, Jesse Crouch of Clemmons; two great-granddaughters, Enora Crouch and Ella Crouch; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary Frances attended Winship Elementary School, Lanier Junior High, and A.L. Miller High School.
She took X-Ray classes at Macon Hospital and began to work at Middle Georgia Hospital. She also worked at Parkview Hospital. She later became a Certified Medical Technologist and work at Riverside Clinic. From there, she used all her skills in x-ray and medical technology in being the head of the laboratory of Dr. Henry Clay. Before she retired, she worked for Dr. Joseph W. Daniels and Dr. Alfredo Suarez.
She was a member of Clemmons United Methodist Church in Clemmons.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Frank Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel in Clemmons. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at Riverside Cemetery in Macon, GA. A Memorial Service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at Clemmons United Methodist Church in Clemmons.
