Mrs. Shaffner is the widow of Ernest G. Shaffner. She was a beloved mother, homemaker, and was a member of the Christian faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane R. Morris and husband Kirby of Pinnacle; son, Robert D. Shaffner and wife Judy of Lawsonville; 5 grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Kerri, Bryan, and Amy; and 5 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Shaffner is preceded in death by a son, Ronnie in June 1972.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 4-6pm at Vogler and Sons Reynolda Chapel. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 9, 2013, 2:30pm, at Crestview Memorial Park.
The family wants to thank the wonderful staff at Universal Healthcare of King and Hospice of Stokes during her illness.
