Dorothy Thomason Boner, 94, a longtime resident of Clemmons, died Tuesday, June 14th at Kate B. Reynolda Hospice Home. She was born in Winston-Salem to the late George Thomason and Sadie Tesh Thomason Shouse and was preceded in death by her husband Paul C. Boner and brother Charlie E. Shouse.
Surviving family includes her sisters Frances S. Warner and Betty S. Martin; two nephews and eight nieces.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted on Friday, June 17, 2011, 11:00 AM at the Vogler Funeral Home Clemmons Chapel, a Dignity Memorial Provider, 2849 Middlebrook Drive, Clemmons (336-766-4714). Rev. Dr. Robert L. Phillips Jr., Pastor Clemmons First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. Family and friends will visit at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time.
