Sarah graduated from Atlanta Business School and worked for Royal Typewriter before becoming a proud homemaker. She was a member of Ozona Baptist Church. Her passions were her husband and children, sharing the word of God and being surrounded by family. She loved to teach Sunday school and would often fill in for others who couldn't be there. Her best memories were raising her children and traveling with her husband. She was an example of faith and devotion. Her daily Bible devotions were an inspiration to friends and family. A true prayer warrior. If you knew her or if even if you didn't know her, she would be praying for you. She was a shining star to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was Grammy. She wore the name proudly and will always be remembered as our beautiful mother and Grammy. Her family takes great comfort in knowing she is with our Heavenly Father free from pain in a place filled with joy, family, and most of all LOVE.
She is survived by her son, Michael N. Skidmore of Clearwater FL (Helen), daughter, M. Katherine Wagner of Indianapolis IN; three grandchildren, Marciann McLane (Chris) of Dunedin, FL, Amanda Miller (Tom) of Wesley Chapel, FL and Heather Hall (Charles) of Novi, MI; seven adoring great-grandchildren, Shelby McLane, Christopher McLane, Baylee McLane, Gavin Miller, Sean Miller, Ethan Miller and Charles Hall; and many adored nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Sarah is predeceased by her loving husband Donald N. Skidmore, her parents, William and Maggie Maddox and her sister Lottie Pierce Owen.
