Ruth C. Clarkson, born October 19, 1927 in Paterson, NJ, daughter of Franklin & Margaret Cozzolino, died on Saturday, August 22 at the age of 87. She resided at the Hampton in Clearwater FL. Ruth is survived by two sons David (Tina) Clarkson of Mobile AL, Glenn (Carol) Clarkson of Plant City FL and a daughter Marlene (Ralph) Sanders of Summerville SC and a sister Jane Gore from Flemington NJ. Ruth was a widow of Arthur V.J. Clarkson they were married for 36 years. Ruth has 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by Vincent Calderone, they were together for 20 years. Prior to her retirement she worked at Scherring Corporation in NJ and retired from Sears in Tampa FL. She enjoyed her retirement by traveling, bowling, playing tennis and golf, cards and Bingo! Ruth was active in the community as an ESL tutor through the local library.
