Rebecca was born in King, North Carolina and lived in Asheboro, North Carolina, graduated from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, married and moved to Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Jefferson and Lonie Emma Rierson, sisters Nina Rierson Hall, Evelyn Rierson Hall and brothers Clifton and T.J. Rierson.
She is survived by her daughters, Penny Navin and her husband Dan Navin of Clearwater, Lynn Gape and her husband Andrew Gape, Nassau Bahamas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews in North Carolina.
A gathering of friends will be held Monday, September 12th from 5-7 at Moss Fester Funeral Home, 693 Belcher Road, Clearwater. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
