Margie Malone Weiss

She was the beloved wife of the late Bill Malone. Loving mother of Tim (Diane) Malone and Lisa (Carl) Humbert. Loving grandmother of Jason (Maria) Malone, Chris (Sarah) Malone, Heather Harper and Becky Humbert. Loving great-grandmother of Ian Malone, Aidan Malone and Brendan Malone. Dear sister of Bennye (Willie) Crago. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sophie Smith and Barbara Adleta, her brother, Buddy Burchett, her niece, Nancy Tomes, and her nephew, Michael Smith.

Margie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Florida on July 4, 1970. She was first employed as a switchboard operator for Cincinnati Bell, and then held various secretarial/payroll positions. Most recently, she volunteered for H.E.A.R.T., in Hernando County where she recruited teachers and community service organizations to help in the adult literacy program. She also administered testing to prospective adult students.

Margie enjoyed camping, traveling, reading and working crossword puzzles.

She attended the First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks and was a member of the Esther Sunday school class.

She will be deeply missed.

Services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 in the Chapel at the First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, Florida 33774. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral immediately following at 11:00 a.m.
