Wice, Jack Holt, 92, of Largo, died Aug. 9, 2014 at Suncoast Hospice Woodside. Jack was born in Mooresburg, Tennessee and moved to Florida on May 15, 1946. For 38 years he was associated with First National Bank of Clearwater, where he was a vice president and commercial loan officer. An Army Air Corp veteran, Jack served his country from 1942 until 1946. Proud of his service and country he never missed a chance to place American flags around his home and community. Quick with a smile, joke or reassuring word, Jack was a friend to all. Jack was very active, including his membership at Anona United Methodist Church, former president of Credit Counseling Service, Clearwater Masonic Lodge #127, Tampa Consistory, Egypt Temple Shrine, and serving several terms as president of the Randolph Farms Homeowner's Association. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Bonnie, son, John ( Dorothy),Ross Durant (Cindy), daughters, Jacquelyn Orr (Jimmy), Sara Legault (David),Rhonda Meding (Dr. John), Julie Williamson (Mark), Sherra Kapfhammer, grandchildren, James Orr (Maggie) Hunter Orr, Hollis Orr, and Madison Hauenstein (Greg), Aaron Wilson, Lindsey Meding, John Brian Meding, Amanda Williamson, Tanner Williamson, Wyatt Williamson, Robert Kapfhammer (Brooke), Daniel Kapfhammer, and great grandchildren, Jack and Sienna Jay Orr. A memorial service will held August 14, 2014 (Thursday), 2:00 PM, at Anona United Methodist Church, 13233 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, Florida, 33774, followed by inurnment and military honors at Arlington National Cemetery. Donations may be made to Anona United Methodist Church, Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Salvation Army and Suncoast Hospice.
