I knew Irene from working with her as a long distance operator at GTE.  We had lots of fun back in the day. She taught me a lot.  Gave me much advice when I had my first child. 
I moved away and lost touch with her but returned back home here where I ran into her again by chance at Publix. 
I’m so happy to know that she had such a wonderful long life. RIP Irene … you certainly deserve it. It was a pleasure knowing you. 💖

Irene was my next door neighbor since my arrival in 2010. She was a very nice woman and was quick to remind me that the hedges were mine to take care of lol. She was a very quite and great neighbor to have and it was a tribute to see the parade by our houses on her 100th birthday. May she RIP with our Lord.

When I was 16 I had a falling out with my father and left home for good. Irene H. McKeever excepted and took me into her home for as long as I needed to get on my feet independently. If she had not done that, I really can’t imagine where I would be today. She provided me the opportunity to per-sue the life  I could only imagine at the time. 
My love to her sons, Rick, Kenny and Terry’ and their families.

I was lucky enough to have spent some special time with this wonderful lady.  The  last time we saw each other she was telling me how much she liked the Alexa she got because she really liked listening to  Lawrence Welk We laughed because she was surprised I knew who that was . I will miss Irene very much❤️

I had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Mckeever many years ago when Rick and I became more than business associates in South Florida and he invited me to Clearwater to see the other coast. My recollection of Mrs. Mckeever was one of warmth and kindness with a gentle sense of humor. I was lucky enough to meet Ricks's brothers and family members as well. I was struck by how close the family was and how warm and inviting they were to me. It was clear to me that only a mother's touch could create such a warm and inclusive family, and to that extent, Mrs. Mekeever as the matriarch of the family had done her job well. In the Jewish faith, we say may her memory be of a blessing, clearly, Mrs. Mckeever has left a legacy of love witnessed by how close a family has been created out of her life. Rest easy Mrs. Mckeever and if you run into my mom maybe you both can compare chicken soup recipes she also left the fat in the soup. To the Mckeever family may you find peace in this time on behalf of myself my wife Marina and my children god bless you all and my god hold you and keep you.

James, Irene’s grandson, would invite me to lunch with grandma after doctor appointments to which he would take her. 

One day as we sat down for lunch she was excited because the doctor told her that she was in good health.   When it came time to order she told the waitress, “ I just came from my doctor and he told me that I am in good health and I want a cannoli”.

Her favorite soup was her mom’s chicken soup. I asked her what made her mom‘s chicken soup special and she said it would because her mom didn’t remove the chicken fat from the broth.

She was special and loved her family. I am blessed to have known her. 

The most “Amazing” Lady I was Blessed to have Loved and to have been Loved By. Always and Forever in My Heart🙏
