Thompson, Florence Elizabeth, born on July 31, 1931, died February 1st, 2020. Florence (Flossie), passed away in the early morning hours with her daughters by her side after a long battle with dementia. She was born in Boston, MA and attended Jamaica Plain High Schools. She was a loyal and loving wife for 46 years and keeping the kids in line and her home in good order was her greatest accomplishment. She didn't let the grass grow under her feet and was constantly on the move. Cruises with her husband and family, knitting, ceramics and decoupage were a few of her favorite pastimes. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Walter; daughter, Meredith; mother, Henrietta and father, Thomas. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Owens (Billy Kincer) and Deborah Gallo (Charles); two granddaughters; four great- granddaughters; and a great-great grandson. A graveside service will be held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park on Tuesday, February 4th at 2pm.
