Born in Pingtung, Taiwan, on August 26, 1940, Donald graduated from National Cheng Kung University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. After college, he came to the United States in 1967. He married Linda in New York on October 11, 1969. Later he completed a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Cooper Union in addition to a master’s degree in business administration from Webster University.
In 1976, Donald moved to Florida, where he worked in electrical engineering for Sperry, Honeywell, and Northrup Grumman. He was a member of Clearwater Community Church and the Taiwanese Association of Tampa Bay.
He is survived by his wife Linda, sons Ivan and Eric (Brother Luke Maria), two sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Clearwater Community Church, 2897 Belcher Road, Dunedin, Florida 34698.
