He was born in New Ulm Minnesota on June 12, 1934. Dean graduated from Senior High School in Albert Lea Minnesota on June 2, 1952. He attended Marion College in Marion Indiana.
He was married to Joyce Ann Greeno on June 29, 1959. He owned an Air condition/Heating business and later owned a Aerial Mapping and Surveying Company. Dean was a member of Brooksville Wesleyan Church and had a passion for music, playing his Trumpet and duets with his late wife, Joyce on the piano.
He was survived by his children Jerry Greeno (son) wife Carol Greeno and Linda North (daughter) husband Rick North, his brother Leon Greeno of North Carolina, Grandchildren Krista Snelling, Dyanna Durr, Megan Jackson, Danielle Smith, and Kendra Ricker Great Grandchildren Fayth Durr, Andrew Durr, Hannah Snelling, Amelia Ricker, Avery Smith, Karlee Ricker, Jaydon Snelling, Sage Smith, Noah Ricker, Halley Snelling, and Foster Smith
A visitation for Dean will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brooksville Wesleyan Church, 22319 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, Florida. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 22319 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, Florida. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, Florida.
