Barbara Jeanette Kellard, 84, of Clearwater passed away on February 25, 2024 with her daughters by her side. Barbara is survived by her husband Ken, daughters Barbara (Steve) and Lori (Mike), 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister Bonnie.
Barbara moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida in 1956 with her parents and sister from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She graduated from high school in 1957 and worked as an Executive Secretary at Honeywell before retiring to raise her family.
Barbara was an accomplished pianist who enjoyed teaching many piano students over the years. As a lifetime member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, she was known for her passion for volunteer work with St. Jude’s and Parc Center for Disabilities. Barbara was an avid quilter and member of Quilter’s Crossing Quilt Guild. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Barbara’s family asks that she by remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
A ceremony will be held at Sylvian Abbey Peacefield Mausoleum on March 8th at 11:00 am.
