Arlene G McKenna

Arlene G McKenna, age 92, of Dunedin, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. She was born on August 6, 1930 to Lester Groat and Viola (Caffrey) Groat in Waterbury, CT. Her survivors Include her daughter; Patti Spell, son; Chris McKenna, granddaughters; Sheri Spell, Jennifer (Paul) Wedmore, Kristi (Jon) O'Connor, great-grandchildren; Kelsie O'Connor, Gabriel Wedmore, Brandon O'Connor, Shane O'Connor, Alex Wedmore and Devyn Wedmore. Arlene is preceded in death by her husband; Richard, son; Michael and her sister; Gertrude.

Arlene graduated from Wilby high school of Waterbury, CT and then, Arlene and her husband moved to Florida in 1960 eventually settling in Dunedin. She was active in the Dunedin PAL and her hobbies included playing Bingo every Sunday, going to Disney, baking, reading and watching the Hallmark Channel.

A visitation for Arlene will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759.
