Born on September 10, 1958 in Clearfield, he was the son of Perry and Sarah (Swales) Norris. Scott was a 1976 graduate of Clearfield Area High School. He was Methodist by faith. Scott retired from Breezeline Cable Company as a cable technician after 28 years of service.
He was a life member of the VFW Post 1785; member of the American Legion Post 6, the and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 812, all of Clearfield. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and spending time at Camp Kilroy with his friends. Scott’s perfect day would be hunting on the family farm in New Millport. Scott was a frugal man, knowing the value of money well earned. After being diagnosed with cancer, Scott reflected on his life and came to the conclusion “You should do what you can today ‘cause tomorrow is not guaranteed.”
Scott is survived by his two sons, Mark Norris, and his companion, Tara White of Sellersville, PA, Stephen Norris and his fiancé, Nichol Suarez of East Berlin, PA; five grandchildren, Asuka, Rowan, Hannah, Haidyn, and Malachi and 2 nephews and 1 niece. Scott is also survived by his ex-wife and friend, Vickie Zimmerman, of Willow Grove, PA.
He was the last of his generation. He is preceded in death by his parents, his second wife, Alane, and one brother, Stephen Norris.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Service for Scott to be held at Awaken 514 Church, 3055 Park Place Suite B, Clearfield on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11 a.m. with Anthony Caiola officiating.
