She was born May 28, 1932 in Clearfield, the daughter of Howard and Hollis (Richner) Owens.
Mrs. Fletcher had been employed on the Libraries Book Mobile and the former Leitzinger’s Department Store.
She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Clearfield and was a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Nancy is survived by two step-sons; Rodney Fletcher and his wife Casey of Florida and Richard Fletcher and his wife Karen of Arizona, four step-grandchildren; Mary Louise, Alex, Allison and Katie, a sister, Cora Owens of Clearfield and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert L. Fletcher whom she married February 5, 1968 and who passed away November 11, 2007, a step-daughter, Nancy Carr, a sister, Olive Martell and two brothers; Dan and Stan Owens.
Honoring Mrs. Fletchers’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. John Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 1454, 217 E. Pine Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
The family would like to thank Knickerbocker Villa and Kindred Hospice for their excellent care.
