She was born July 6, 1939 in Clearfield the daughter of Kenneth and Lena (Kephart) Brown.
Mrs. Hunt had retired from for Berg Electronics. She also owned and operated the McLaughlin Grocery Store in Glen Richey.
She had attended the Mt. Calvary Chapel of Mahaffey.
Mrs. Hunt was an avid reader, bird watcher and loved to cook and bake. She was a regular blood donor with the American Red Cross and received multiple pins in recognition for her donations.
Mrs. Hunt is survived by her two children; Vickie Redlinger of Clearfield and Vance McLaughlin and his wife Deborah of Mahaffey, five grandchildren; Corissa Baker (Brandon) of Patton, Ashley Struble (Brandon) of Snow Shoe, Carlea Patterson and Dickie Patterson both of Clearfield and Brandi McLaughlin of Clearfield, six great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; five siblings, Dale Brown (Helen), Kenneth Brown (Yvonne) all of Litz Bridge, Nancy Shaffer (Chuck) of Curwensville, Janice Brown of Huntingdon and Scott Brown of Curwensville and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Richard McLaughlin, her second husband Farn Hunt, and son, Vaughn McLaughlin.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Rev. Jerry Spencer and Rev. Jeffrey Schneider co-officiating. Interment will be in Fruit Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 4, from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
