She was born on November 23, 1983, in Philipsburg, the daughter of Christopher Dixon of Curwensville and the late Elaine Rene (Luzier) Ward.
Megan was affiliated with the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her father, her husband, Gray Welch, of Missouri, a daughter, Kelsey McBride, of Clearfield and a son, Jaycob Welch, of Missouri, her maternal grandmother, Joelene Luzier, of Clearfield, four sisters; Leyna (Ward) Seyler, Amanda Ward, Katie Ward and Lea Ward, all of Glen Richey, one half sister and three half brothers.
She was preceded in death by her mother and paternal grandfather, Sheridan Luzier.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 6, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Brower officiating.
