Linda L Makufka

Born on December 2, 1953 in Virginia, she was the daughter of Robert and Betty (Knerr) Gibbons.

Linda graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1971. Upon graduation, she attended Penn State University, State College, graduating in 1975.

She was a member of Trinity Chapel, DuBois, PA.

Linda was formerly employed at Penn Highlands – DuBois as a Behavioral Health Dept. Secretary; and most recently was employed by the DuBois Public Library.

In her spare time, she loved Christian music, music from the sixties, reading books, and photography,

Linda is survived by two children, Craig Makufka and his wife, Brittany Jennifer Makufka; grandson, Cole Shultz, granddaughter, Hannah Ripple, and great-granddaughter, Nova Shultz.

She is also survived by her brother, Wayne Gibbons and his wife Stephanie, her sister, Robin Gibbons; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

In honoring Linda’s, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
