Lester "Butch" A. Holt Sr.

He was born July 15, 1940 in Clearfield, the son of James E. and Nancy (Fye) Holt.

Mr. Holt had worked in construction for many years and retired in 2005 from the Lawrence Township Municipal Authority.

He was Protestant by Faith and a social member of the Clearfield Veterans of Wars F. Michael Sicks Post No. 1785.

Lester is survived by his four sons; James E. Holt of Clearfield, Lester A. Holt, Jr., of Clearfield, Robert A. Holt and his wife Holly of Curwensville and John T. Holt of Bells Landing, four grandchildren; Daniel Holt and his wife Kaitlyn, Caitlin Holt, Curtis Fontenoy and Addison Holt, three great grandchildren; Riley Mater and Kennedy and Holden Holt, a brother, Kenneth Holt and his wife Ella of Clearfield and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Leslie Fontenoy, twelve siblings and the mother of his children, Judith A. (Jordan) Holt.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Thomas Holt officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until the hour of services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 440 W. Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
