Mrs. Cartwright was born December 21, 1956 in Clearfield the daughter of Janice (Cutler) Jury of Bigler.
She had worked for J & E Sportswear and McGregors.
Mrs. Cartwright enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with family.
Karen is survived by her mother, her daughter, Jodi L. Paul (Cortez) of Sebring, FL, three grandchildren; Cortrell LeRoy Paul, Rakeed D’Andre Paul and Taysia Lynne Paul, her fiancé, Thomas McGonigal of Spring Valley, her fiance’s children; Crystal Robbins (Gene) of West Decatur, Brian McGonigal (Angela) of Manassas, VA and Shawn McGonigal of Clearfield, a number of step-children, step-grandchildren and step- great grandchildren, three sisters; Tammy Green (Terry) of Shiloh, Brenda Titus (Terry) of West Decatur and Darlene Peters ( Brian)of Allport, two brothers; Ron Jury (Kendrea) of Bigler and Michael Jury (Tava) of Woodland, four step-sisters; Barbara Post, Darlene Knepp, Brenda Gearhart and Tammy Jury, five step-brothers; David, Allen, John, Charles and Lynn Jury and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Linus Jury, her husband, Chester L. “Chet” Cartwright who passed away January 10, 2006 and whom she married August 22, 1981 in North Tonawanda, NY, an infant sister, Diane Leone and a sister, Kimberly A. Bacher.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Dr. Charles B. Jury officiating. Interment will be at Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
