Clarence E. McBride Jr.

Born on November 12, 1933 in Clearfield, he was the son of Clarence E. and Bertha L. (Havens) McBride, Sr.

On February 24, 1952 he wed the former Dolores P. Fye in her family home.

Clarence worked along side his brother John for 30+years, as an electrician in their family business, McBride Electrical, Clearfield.

Clarence taught his son, Jack, everything he knew about being an electrician and what he knew about cars. They particularly enjoyed overhauling an engine together. He also enjoyed to hunt, archery, and working in his yard.

He attended the Brisbin Baptist Church, Brisbin, PA .

Clarence is survived by seven children, Kathy Barraclough; Jack W. McBride; Sharon Vivian; Lori Pry; Beverly Irvin; Don McBride; Barb Gates; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.

He is also survived by five sisters and two brothers, Ramona “Cookie” Dixon; Betty Dixon; Mary Price; June Louise Lance; Rosemarie Mignot; John McBride; Allen McBride; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clarence is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dolores and his son, Clarence.

Friends will be received at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 12 Noon until 2 p.m.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, October 21 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Mark Melhorn.

Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery, Clearfield.
