Christine K. Price

She was born in Clearfield, PA to Robert Price, Sr. and Imogene (Butler) Price on January 12, 1961.

Christine graduated from DuBois Area High School in 1979. Following graduation, she pursued higher education and received degrees from The University of Oklahoma where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Clarion University where she graduated with a Master’s of Science & Education.

She loved her Lord and Savior and faithfully served Him at Spring Valley Methodist Church, Spring Valley, PA. Children had a special place in her heart and she enjoyed teaching Sunday school.

Christine is survived by three siblings, Robert (Lana) Price, Jr. of Canandaigua, NY, David (Lisa) Price of Rochester, NY, and Sue (Greg) Smeltzer of Parsonsburg, MD. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces; and a very close friend, Jane Lumadue.

In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by two siblings, Peggy and Jeanie; and a very special family friend, Gordon Hummel.

Friends will be received at The Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, 312 Locust St., Clearfield, PA on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 10 – 1 p.m. Funeral and interment services will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Brian McTavish officiating. Interment will be in The Historic Crown Crest Cemetery, Clearfield, PA.

Memorial contributions in memory of Christine may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
