She was born on June 27,1963, the daughter of John D. and Beatrice E. (Welch) Kukla. The eldest of five daughters, she was a graduate of the 1980 class of the Curwensville Christian Academy.
On April 13, 1995 she married Wayne D. Emigh of Woodland at the Christian Alliance Church.
Bonnie's family meant everything to her. Known by many as Mama B., she enjoyed helping and spending time with not only her own children, but numerous neighborhood children as well. Bonnie also served her community as a member of several local fire companies. Primarily, as a lifetime member and former Secretary-Treasurer for both the B.J.W. Fire Co., Station 16, Woodland and Station 77 Moshannon Forest Firefighters in Elliot State Park, Penfield.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, John and Beatrice (Welch) Kukla, and a son, Daniel Edward Emigh, who died on February 15, 1993,
She is survived by her husband, Wayne D. Emigh of Woodland, her son, Kirk Bloom and his wife, Billie Jo of Houtzdale, PA, her daughter Monica Emigh and her companion, Kevin Mick, Jr., of Madera, and stepson, Wayne D. Emigh, Jr. and his wife, Karri of Osceola Mills, PA. She is also survived by three beloved grandchildren, Ryder Bloom, Haylee Emigh, and Jaytee Emigh. Bonnie is also survived by her four sisters, Valerie Holthouse and her husband, Mark of Clymer, NY, Cherie Bloom of Curwensville, PA, Helen Miller and her husband, Arthur of Corry, PA, Heather Kukla-Alvarez of Richland, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at the family's convenience.
