Born October 23, 1929 in Spangler, she was the daughter of Ture W. and Hazel A. (Sones) Lindstrom.
Mrs. Lippert had been a Seamstress at the former McGregors, also cleaned at the former Dolly’s Washhouse in Clearfield and had worked part-time at Pine Grove Nursery.
She was a member of the Clearfield Alliance Church and the Hyde Fire Company Auxiliary.
Alice is survived by four children; Raymond N. Lippert of Clearfield, Bruce E. Lippert and his wife Lori of West Decatur, Dean A. Lippert, Sr. and his wife Ellen of Clearfield and Anna M. McGarry and her husband Patrick, Jr. of Curwensville, twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, two daughters-in-law; June K. Lippert of Spanaway, WA and Cindy A. Lippert of New Smyrna Beach, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the oldest and last member of her generation having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilmer F. Lippert, Sr., whom she married February 19, 1947 and who passed away March 13, 1991, three sons; Wilmer F. Lippert, Jr., Russell E. Lippert and Donald L. Lippert, six brothers; Donald, Harold, Carl, Robert, Norman and Richard Lindstrom, four sisters; Margaret Catalano, Ruby Strayer, Elsie Beck and Norma Jean Harvey and an infant grandson.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sam Maines officiating. Interment will be in Historic Crown Crest Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
