Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, April 23, 2022 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home 12830 US 70 Business Highway West, Clayton, North Carolina with Pastor David Sutphin officiating. Entombment will follow at the Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12 noon at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Traci was born in North Hornell, New York on December 30, 1971 to Leon Ellsworth Spicer and the late Lorraine Ann Lonsberry Spicer. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a niece, Heidi Marie Spicer and a nephew, Justin Caleb Converse. Also, with her beyond the rainbow bridge, her two loving companion pups, Princess and Sophie.
She was employed with First Citizens Bank for over 19 years. She was a former President of the 40/42 Chamber of Commerce. Traci enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach, White Lake, riding her Harley, dancing, friends, family, and most importantly, being a mother, grandmother and wife.
She is survived by her husband and soulmate of 21 years, Mark Atkinson; daughters Taylor Williams (husband Stefan) and Noel Atkinson; two grandchildren, Stefanie and Stefan Jr. ; brothers and sisters, David Spicer, Jeff Spicer, Laurie Spicer, Cheryl Wheeler (husband Richard), and Connie Plank; and 9 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews.
