Cam I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing..  I have seen all the great pictures of you with her on Facebook over the years, and you clearly had a very special bond.   She will always be with you.  Sending prayers to you, Pam, and your family.. 

Your mom was so special to me, starting  when I was in high school.  Hearing her sing at FBC is a treasured memory. I was so happy to reconnect with her at Summerwinds. Prayers for you all now and in the days ahead. 

There aren't many "class acts" left in this world but Sybil was one.  She always spoke and remembered our name.  Clayton is going to miss her.

Cam, your Mama and I have laughed for years over this story .She loved to tell it to people. When I was 8 I ran away from school and ran1 block to Mama Gordon's house.Here she and Mr.Grantham came through the back door and she ask Mama Gordon where is Terri? Mama Gordon said she's in there under the bed.. I was scared too death he stood there with that paddle in his hand and your Mama reached to grab me and I ran and hid under the front bedroom bed. Here she come and I then ran across the street and hid in the bushes.She saw me and knew where I was but didnt tell Mr.Grantham so they left.I then went home and was mad as fire for Mama Gordon telling them where I was. She loved to tell this every time I saw her! She saved me... Loved her too.

Cam, your mother was a great lady. We loved to watch her read the N&O on her patio at the beach. I remember when she and Larry had their 50th. They and all their attendants were at the beach and posed for pictures like at their wedding, but this time it was around the Summer Winds pool. Our love to you and Pam,

Cam and family, we are so sorry to hear of Sybil’s passing.  We enjoyed singing in the choir with her for many years before we moved from Clayton.  We know you will miss her but pray happy memories will give you great comfort now and in the days to come.

Thoughts and prayers are with you all.....Spent many a day playing in your backyard and house growing up in the neighborhood. Your mom was always kind to us and a special friend to my mom....

She always treated you like a second mother. A kind soul. She will be missed.
