He is survived by his wife, Beverly Jordan; his children, Wesley Jordan and wife, Debora, Perry Jordan, Chad Bugg and wife, Erica; grandchildren, Ashley Jennings and husband, William, Jessie Valdez and Christina, Jennifer Hernandez and husband, Juan. Great grandchildren, Andrew, Isabelle, Carlos, JoJo, Jovanni and Jazz all of the Clayton.
Stan graduated in 1961 from Center Point High school, Center Point, IA. He married the love of his life in August of 1969. He was a farmer until moving to FL in 1970 where he was a supervisor at a milking farm. In 1972 he moved to Raleigh working various jobs such as Austin Biscuit Company and running a candy route. He apprenticed with Reliable Pump Service until buying out the pump company and it becoming Jordan & Sons, INC in 1996. He installed and serviced well water systems until he fully retired in 2007 at the age of 65. Stan loved taking care of his 13 acres, gardening, going to the beach and enjoying his grand and great grandchildren. Stan also was a big John Wayne fan, NASCAR fan and was an avid book reader. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to visit with folks.
A memorial service celebrating Stan’s life will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 2:00pm at Mount Zion United Methodist Church (15772 NC-50 Garner, NC 27529). Guests may visit the family at Stan's home after the service.
