Nicole Michelle Dixon

Nicole was born in the Bronx NY on March 21, 1982 to her loving parents Kenneth E and Gwendolyn Y Dixon. She was raised in the Bronx and moved to Raleigh, NC in 1989 where she was educated and graduated from Millbrook High School in 1997. She went on to earn her associates degree in childhood education while living in California and working with her parents at a candy factory. She moved back to NC in 2003 where she meet her husband John J Gall and they were married on March 31st ,2013. They had a son in November of 2011 who brought her the tremendous joy of being a mother. Nicole enjoyed being a wife and mother and spending time with family and friends. Nicole worked in the clinical research field for the past 11 years at Raleigh Neurology. Nicole enjoyed binging old TV series, reading books, watching the Rocky trilogy and most recently a love for diamond art. Nicole was diagnosed with cancer in March of 2022 and fought a good fight, staying positive and hopeful for her family. Those of us who witnessed her battle are at peace knowing she is no longer in pain and is with her parents.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father Kenneth E and Gwendolyn (Penny) Y Dixon, her grandparents Kenneth and Martha Dixon and her aunt Barbara (Ford). She leaves behind a loving husband and son John J and Kenneth J Gall, a sister and brother-in-law Sandra (Dee) and Melvin (Daniels), Uncle Arnold (Blackman), nieces Kristin and Felicia (Blow) and a great nephew Brayden (Henry). She also leaves behind cousins and extended family and friends who loved her very much.

A gathering of family and friends for Nicole will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at McLaurin Funeral Home & Pinecrest Memorial Park, 12830 US 70 Business Highway West, Clayton, North Carolina 27520.
