Nick Hardison, Jr. passed away in the mountains of Tennessee while visiting friends on November 9, 2024. He was born in Raleigh, NC on Dec. 15, 1969. His parents are Brenda Heath Hardison and Nick McCoy Hardison, Sr.
Nick was raised in Raleigh, NC and attended Sanderson High School. He graduated with a BA from Appalachian State University in 2000. He loved the mountains and lived in Boone, NC for several years before moving back to Raleigh. Before his health failed him, he was employed with GE Air Monitoring which was sold to TRC Corp. With GE and TRC, he traveled throughout the United States and the Middle East monitoring emissions and testing for air quality from large manufacturing plants.
Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Patti Heath, Jesse David Hardison and Agnes Hardison Vick.
He is survived by his parents; Brenda Hardison, Nick Hardison, Sr. and wife Phyllis, his sister, Tammy Mason, nephew Lloyd, nieces Mary and Emily, several great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by partner, Liz Henderson and their roommate, Ernie Hodgson. He is also survived by his fur babies; Josie Wales, Molly, and Boxcar. Also surviving Nick are several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of his life will be held in the Spring of 2025.
