Landen Scott ‘Captain Spud” Richardson, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the age of 5. Landen loved whispering to his parents about his privileges above his brothers often saying "when my brothers go to sleep, can we eat some ice cream?" He loved being a part of his dads work and side projects especially those involving hammers. When recently asked "why are you so cute?" he would say "cause I get it from my momma” He absolutely LOVED his nick name "Captain Spud".
“Captain Spud” is survived by his dad, Travis Richardson; mom, Megan Gordon; brothers; Mason Richardson, Carter Richardson and Gage Richardson; aunts, Makayla Griffin and Alyssa Warren; uncles, Palmer Richardson and Brian Dolan; grandmothers, Jennifer Robinson, Becky Whitley and Lisa Reagan; great grandmothers, Margie Heath and Phyllis Blair; grandfathers, Darrell Reagan, Ray Richardson, Phil Whitley and Oliver Robinson.
A funeral service for Landen will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 3:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:30 until 2:30 prior to the service.
