Kourtney was born May 16, 1994, at Madigan Army Medical Center at Ft. Lewis, Washinton State.
At an early age she had the gift of gab. She loved walking around talking on her play phone. Kourtney was such a happy baby, she rarely cried and was a little socialite. Kourtney was very outgoing; she never knew a stranger. When She would introduce herself, she would always say “Hey! I’m Kourtney with a K.”
My baby girl was caring and loving. Her friends describe her as a force to be reckoned with, always there for them, beautiful inside and out, extra in everything she did, a pure genuine soul, and a real one til the end.
Kourtney was the sunshine; she lit up any room she walked in. She encouraged everyone to strive to be better and was an amazing friend. She was always bubbly, outgoing, and silly, a pure gem. Kourtney was also strong and faced many struggles. She was a beautiful spirit with an adventurous mind. She always made others feel welcome.
Kourtney was very prideful and full of love. She was brilliant. If you needed a friend, she was there. Kourtney was someone you didn’t find twice. She was dedicated and was a hard worker at every job she held. Kourtney loved hard and fierce. She was all about family and her son was her whole world. Kourtney moved mountains to make sure her son had everything he needed and wanted. She loved him so very much. Bedtime was special. They would lay on the couch with his blanket and cup and watch a movie together. After Jordan fell asleep, she would put him in his bed. Her son was her everything. Her entire world.
Kourtney is survived by her son, Jordan Whitley; her parents, Randy and Mollie Boggan; sisters, Katie Boggan, Sarah Watson, and Ashley Williams; brother, Gage Boggan; nieces and nephews, Kaden (Katie) Braxton, McKenzie, and Lily (Ashley) Kylie, Zurie, Amira, and Eli (Sarah); aunts, Valerie, Tina, Karen, and Rhonda.

My baby girl left footprints on every heart she touched.
My Kourtney was always optimistic and fiercely loved by her son. She was goofy, had dreams and plans. This earth truly lost an angel. My beautiful baby girl, mommy loves you so much.
The family would like to offer a special thanks the staff at McLaurin Funeral Home, all of those that prayed for us, thought of us, and for the generosity shown towards us. A special thank you to Vada, Melanie, Natasha, and Christi.
