Donald Rose Underwood

Donald Rose Underwood, 93, son of the late James and Bertha P. Underwood passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020. A US Army veteran, Donald was born in Johnston County on April 17, 1927. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at3:00 pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Wall and her husband, Tony ; sons, Tony Underwood, Donnie Underwood, Barry Underwood and his wife Glenda, Bobby Underwood; sister, Helen Bailey; brother, Gilliam Underwood; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sallie “Tom” Underwood.
