Charles John Hoffmann, age 56, of Clayton passed away Friday, November 21, 2014. Charlie was born April 11, 1958 in Oceanside, NY to the Margaret and the late Charles Hoffmann. He was a man that always took care of his family first. He loved his family but none more than the grandchildren, they were the light of his life. He was a mechanic for more than 40 years and he loved to burn rubber. He would often help people out with car troubles whether or not they had the money to pay him. He would truly give you the shirt off his back
A Funeral Service will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, 12830 US Highway 70 Business West, Clayton, NC 27520. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Charlie is survived by his wife Stacy Hoffmann; children, Carrie Stancil and her husband, James, Christopher Hoffmann, Richard Hoffmann, and Kelli Hoffmann and her boyfriend, Josh; grandchildren, Hannah, CJ, Hailie, Jack, Helena, and Lexie; and his best buddy George.
