I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father husband, friend..  I knew Anthony well from Grammar School and High School he and his best friend Robert Vullo were in the Orchastra with me and some classes.  They always made me laugh and I must say got me in trouble.   All in Good Fun.  My heartfelt condolences to his entire family and friends.  He will surely be in my prayers.

What a sweet, kind generous and all-around good man. It was always good to be around Tony; he was always very kind and welcoming to me — generous as well.  Anyone who knows him knows these things already.He will be sorely missed.   I look forward to sharing one of those really great cigars of his with him in paradise.

We just learned about the sudden and tragic passing of Anthony. My wife Gerry and I extend to the entire Bastardi family and friends our deepest condolences. I go way back with the Bastardi family, and before that the Biasi family (Anthony's mother Nina's maiden name) when we lived in Bayside, NY.  May Anthony's soul rest in peace and the good memories of him continue to be shared among family and friends. Rest in peace Anthony.

Dear Bastardi Family.

Like many I was totally shocked by the message of Tony’s passing away.

As an expat from the NL APG office I had the pleasure of working closely together with Tony for several years. I was blessed to have him as a colleague. He was always interested and helpful. He taught me so many things. Of course mostly business matters. But he also always politely corrected my Double Dutch-ish English, explained several US customs and traditions. He explained the rules of Baseball during a Mets game, and also gave great tips on his beloved New York City. Even travel! I still quote Tony in saying: “It is always time for Las Vegas!”

On top of that I had the pleasure to be invited in your house twice. Once during Christmas. So kind and hospitable, I will never forget that special Christmas.

The picture I attached was taken in November 2014 when Tony, his wife, daughter, and niece visited NL. I dragged your poor people around in my small car. Still for me a good memory.

Rest in peace Tony. And to the family, my deepest condolences with your loss.

                     I worked with Tony in 2 different companies. I will always remember his infectious laugh. After I told Tony that my father is a horse racing fan, Tony always inquired asked about how he was doing. You have my deepest condolences at this time. I hope eventually you can find some peace.

I had the privilege of working closely with Tony for almost 20 years since I hired him in 2004 at APG AM USA in New York, and during that time, he proved to be an exceptional professional, colleague, and friend. His dedication, knowledge, and expertise were truly remarkable, and he contributed immensely to our team's success. Tony's commitment to his work was evident in everything he did, and his passion for his profession was contagious.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tony was a man of great character and integrity. He was kind, caring, and always had a warm smile that could light up a room. He valued his family above all else, and his love for you was evident in every conversation we had. Tony often spoke fondly of his family, sharing stories of his children's achievements and the adventures they had together. He cherished those moments and held his family dear to his heart.
Throughout the years, even as I moved away to Hong Kong and later Europe, Tony and I remained in contact and became friends. We shared milestones and stories together, and his presence enriched my life in several ways. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but I take solace in knowing that his memory will live on through the cherished moments we shared and the impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him.
During this difficult time, please remember that you are not alone. Your family is surrounded by love and support from all who knew and appreciated Tony. Tony's legacy will forever remain in our hearts, and his memory will continue to inspire us to live our lives with the same passion, kindness, and love that he exemplified.

Mr. B - I have such a heavy heart writing this.  Words can’t describe the pillar of a man that you were, such a light in all our lives.  I was blessed to find my dear friend Nicole and have the opportunity to be among your family all these years.  You always made me feel like I was at home and with family when I was with the Bastardis.  For so long your home was my second home and you always welcomed me.  Many of my best memories are family dinners, vacations and parties with the Bastardis.  I will miss your calm yet protective presence, your humor and your betting skills (I wish I was a better student).  Most of all you were a role model, a true family man who always put his family first.
You and Mrs. B purely exemplified what it meant to be a loving couple who adored their children.  
Heaven earned a true Angel.  I know when you get to heaven my father will give you a warm welcome and a big thank you for keeping an eye on his kid.

As a Dutch colleague, I had the pleasure of working with him several times over the years. When I visited the NY office, Tony was one of the persons who actually showed me New York City for the first time in my life. A great experience! I have even been 'on top of the world' with him in The Chrysler building. When Tony and his NY office team went over to the Netherlands, I drove them back to the hotel and put them in my car. Including Tony, 3 persons in total, nice and cozy on a small back seat. :-)

I loved his enthusiasm, his humor, a great guy!

I received the news about Tony's passing with immense sadness and want to share my heartfelt condolences with the family. 

I worked with Tony at APG in New York. Tony stood out for his wit and he always had a lot to say about pretty much everything. But one of my favorite memories is about the day he told me he was going to be a grandfather. He was so happy and excited! 
 My own kids were little at that time and it was so fun to chat with Tony about the babies. Whenever we would meet in the hallway, he would tell me another story about them. I hope that in these difficult times you will find some consolation in knowing you were all so very much loved by him. And I am sure he will always keep watching out for you from heaven. 

Thank you Mr. B for all the love and generosity you showed me through the years! You included me on family trips, game nights, racetrack, dinners, handball, boxing nights, taught me how to take an joke and showed me what it means to spend quality time together and be a loving family! Also, that it is ok to show your emotions, tissues while watching Ant and I in marching band. I am a better father and husband from watching and being around you and for that I am eternally grateful! Thank you for giving me my best friend too, so many amazing memories, and sorry for throwing that football spilling beer on your freshly steamed carpet that one time, love you and your family always!
