Anthony was born in Queens, New York on May 29, 1956 to the late Salvatore Bastardi and Anna Biasi Bastardi.
He was the beloved husband of Ann with whom he shared 38 years together and loving father to Nicole (Antonio) and Anthony (Emily); cherished grandfather (Pop Pop) to Alessia, Giuseppe, Matilda and Eleanor. Anthony is survived by his brother Salvatore (Maureen), his nephew Christopher, niece Lauren (Tom), nephew Thomas and brother- in-law Frank.
Anthony’s extraordinary life of 67 years was characterized by his devotion to his family and his faith, his love of time at the race track and drinking his favorite scotch. He spent his short retirement time doting on his grandchildren, teaching them gardening, planning family vacations and enjoying life. Gone too soon, Anthony lives on in our hearts for an eternity.
