Passsed away peacefully at home with family by her side on June 13, 2011 at the age of 71. Born September 17, 1939 in Wellsville, Missouri. A California resident for 56 years. Preceded in death by the love of her life, Bob Farmer. Survived by children Linda Sue of Citrus Heights, Toni Lynn of Grass Valley and James Michael (Diana) Farmer of Sacramento. Grandchildren Sara, Patrick and Shaylin Hanlon of Grass Valley. She also leaves behind sisters Elizabeth Stewart and Sherry Jones, brothers Edward Huff, Joe Huff, R.J. Pendegraft and Dennis Pendegraft of Missouri. Preceded in death by her brother Jim Pendegraft.
Darlene will be greatly missed by family and friends and remembered for her many talents – a wonderful seamstress, fabulous cook, loving homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 24th at 1:00 pm at the Sylvan Cemetery Gazebo, 7401 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights.
