Patricia J Sprouse

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Robert Sprouse, as well as her parents and grandson Daniel Sprouse. She is survived by her children: Robert J. (Trisha) Sprouse, James K. (Josie) Sprouse, Cynthia L. (Frank) Ross, Teri A. Sprouse, and Pamela J. Sprouse; her grandchildren Kristen (Jeremy) Russell, Justin (Rachel) Sprouse, Lauren (Ben) Levine, Adam Sprouse, Rebecca (Michael) Glover, Jenna Sprouse, Frank (Emily) Ross, Katherine (Kirk) Brozek, and Joseph Ross; thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pat’s career began as a bank teller in downtown Columbus, but she dedicated much of her life to family and community. While raising five children, she worked in a variety of administrative and bookkeeping positions with Larry Pleasant Architect, a marketing agency, Slemmon’s Garden Center, and J.R. Scott Insurance. She was known for her commitment to service, particularly her volunteer work with local organizations such as the Boy and Girl Scouts of America, CSO Allegro, and TWIG groups of Children's Hospital.

Pat and Bob were long-time members of Riverside Methodist Church, where they spent over 60 years as active members. They lived the majority of their married life in Upper Arlington, Ohio, before retiring to Hilliard. Throughout her life, Pat was deeply dedicated to her family and cherished the time spent socializing with friends and loved ones. Her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched over the years.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger Circleville, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, Ohio. The funeral service will follow from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Hitler Ludwig Cemetery, 1819 Hitler Rd., Circleville, Ohio.
