Maria Jesus Cacho

Maria Jesus Cacho, 77, passed away at her home on June 10, 2024, surrounded by her family that she so dearly loved. She rejoined her late mother and father, Jesus and Elvia Jauregui, in eternal peace. Born on June 3, 1947, in Guadalajara, Mexico. She grew up as the oldest of her six siblings; Margarita, Maria Luisa, Francisca, Jose, Maria Brigida, and Elvia. At the age of fifteen, she helped raise them after the passing of her father.

Maria married Luis J. Cacho in September 1967, and helped raise his three children Charlie, Helen, and Richard who had her grandchildren Charlie, Ophelia, Jacob, Vicky, Tony, Jessica, Loreal, and Paloma.

Her home was also filled with laughter from her four children, Luis A., Elizabeth, Daniel, and Deanna. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Priscilla, Luis, Adriana, Yasmin, Sofia, Isabella, Nicolas, Alexia, Gabriella, and Ariella. As well as her great grandchildren Stella and Levi. Her family brought great joy and pride to her life. Her greatest happiness was being a wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

While raising her family, she continued to serve her community through her charity work. With her giving spirit, she made life changing contributions to several orphanages and individuals.

Her greatest love was spending time with her family. She also loved to dance, sing, listen to music, pray for others, go out to eat, travel, cook, craft, garden, watch movies, shop, help others, and enjoy sunsets.

Her life was a celebration and her smile was contagious. She was a loving, hard-working, intelligent, and strong woman. She always exuded elegance and grace. Her charming personality was reflected in her exquisite taste in clothing, decoration, and style.

An inspiration to us all, she was beautiful inside and out and impacted the lives of everyone that was fortunate enough to meet her. She was a blessing and gift to all and will truly be missed.
