Born in the Philippines, Enriqueta spent most of her life in San Diego, California, where she built a legacy of love, kindness, and service. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.
Enriqueta is survived by her loving husband, Teodoro de Guzman; children, Apple de Guzman, Michelle de Guzman, and Paul de Guzman; and grandchildren, Nour A. Eldaly, Amina A. Eldaly, and Vaun S. de Guzman.
Throughout her life, Enriqueta found joy in caring for others as a dedicated nurse. She also cherished moments spent with her family, whether it be watching Korean dramas, traveling, sharing meals, playing with her grandkids or going to the movies with her beloved husband. Her love for music was evident in her devoted service to the music ministry at church.
A celebration of Enriqueta's life will be held at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista. Viewing on October 19, 2024, at 1 pm to 9 pm. Memorial service on October 20, 2024 at 2 pm to 3 pm. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and honor her memory.
