Eleanor Lopez

Eleanor Lopez, age 90, of National City, CA, passed away January 6, 2023. She was born in La Mesa, CA on December 21, 1932. She was married to Lupe C Lopez on December 8, 1951, who passed away on July 7, 2022.

She is also predeceased by her brothers Gilbert, Robert, Lawrence and Mario Martinez.

She is survived by daughter Debra and son Leonard, grandchildren Joe, Oriana, Tony and Alex Loza, Raina and Caleb Lopez, and great grandchildren Esai, Neomi, Liam, Sophie, Luke and Dylan Loza.

She was a homemaker for 15 years until she decided she wanted to become a beautician. Eleanor went to beauty school, worked for a few years for others while learning her trade then opened her own business, Eleanor’s Beauty Salon. She worked for 40 years in the business.

Eleanor loved her family and we all loved her.

A graveside service for Eleanor will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at La Vista Cemetery, 3191 Orange Street, National City, CA 91950 followed by a celebration of life at Sweetwater Summit Regional Park, 3218 Summit Meadow Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
