Aida Gopez Garcia, 93 years old, of Chula Vista, California passed away on June 11, 2014. Aida was born in Paranaque, Philippines on June 2, 1921.
As a young woman, she received her Bachelor's degree in the Philippines and worked as an elementary school teacher. Her passion in life was her family. She is survived by her 3 daughters; Consolacion Marcos, Lourdes Virata and Flora Fulgencio, and one son; Jose Garcia. Her legacy includes 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Aida will have a visitation at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910 on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m..
Deacon Bill Martinez will lead a prayer service for her starting at 6 p.m. in the Serenity Chapel.
