Peter De La Cruz

Peter De La Cruz was Born on June 05, 1944 to Francisco and Teresa De La Cruz, in Madera, California. He departed this life on December 31, 2018 in Fresno, California.

Peter joined the United States Army in 1961 and completed his service Honorably.

Peter was married to the love of his life Patricia Greene in 1963 and began their family life together for the next 48 years until her passing in 2011.

He spent the majority of his life working within the Lumber and Agricultural industries as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Operator both Locally and in Northern California for a brief time. He enjoyed joking with friends and spent all of his spare time fishing, looking for Native American relics and camping with family.

Peter is preceded in death by his loving Mother and father, four Brothers-Richard, Francisco Jr., Daniel ,and Ernesto,two sisters- Carmen Syverson and Teresa Simmons.

He leaves to Cherish his memories one sister-Maria De La Cruz, two Daughters- Terry Beals and Tana Smith, one son-Floyd De La Cruz, Daughter in law-Lona De La Cruz, 7 grandchildren- Fred Reese, Nicholas De La Cruz, Felicia Smith, Jared De La Cruz, Johnathan Smith, Lillian De La Cruz, Andrew Johnson and four great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and loved ones.

To honor Peter's last wishes there will be no services.
