Bob was born to Rafael and Manuela Delgado on September 11, 1941. He was the 2nd youngest of 10 children.
He graduated from Pomona Catholic High School (when it was co-ed) and continued his education taking college courses in photography. Soon after, he was drafted into the United States Army, where he honorably served as a Second Sergeant.
In 1967, Bob's strong connection to his Latino Heritage grew, leading him to join the Brown Berets. He proudly marched during the ""Fights for Chicano Rights and Equality" era. Soon after, he had his 1st daughter in 1968.
Later, Bob married his wife, Sandra Furlough and spent 45 years dedicating his life to her and sharing the two children they had together.
Bob dedicated his career working at NBC Studios for about 42 years before retiring. He enjoyed playing baseball, cycling, camping, the beach, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Bob is survived by his daughters Anjelica Gutierrez (Janet Oliva), Belinda Delgado and son Robert (Bobby) Delgado. He is also survived by 3 Grand-Children, Christian George, Robert Delgado & Saige George and 3 Great-grandchildren Athena, Artemis, & Damon George. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra, his parents and siblings, except his older brother Patrick (Patty) Delgado.
Viewing and Services will be held at Funeraria del Angel Chino on Sunday October 15th, from 4pm-8pm.
Burial will take place at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside on Monday October 16th, at 2:15pm.
