David Herrera III, 31, of Chino, Ca, died October 21, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born June 1, 1987 in Whittier, Ca, the son of David Jr. and Anel (Guevara) Herrera. He graduated from Glen A. Wilson High School in 2005. He worked as a driver for XPO Logistics.
David III is survived by his parents David Jr. and Anel of Chino, Ca; his brother Anthony, his sister in law Alexandria, and his sisters Alysa, Isabella, and Kristina. His three nephews, Anthony Jr., Michael, and Jacob. He also leaves his maternal grandfather, Julian Guevara of Hacienda Heights; and his paternal grandparents, David Sr. and Lucille Herrera of Hacienda Heights. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Loraine Tovalin of Hacienda Heights and several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Ana Maria Guevara.
David loved his family and friends; he was always very considerate putting the needs of others before his own. He had a love for animals especially his dog Roxy. He was an avid music lover and loved movies. He was number one LA Dodgers fan. He was known for his quick wit, his smile, and his compassionate spirit.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 8th, 2018, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel in Chino.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 9th, 2018 at 11a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills.
Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Glendora.
Memorial reception to follow at Chino Valley DES Club in Chino.
