Mary Louise Whitley

Born on July 17, 1946 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Macon Turner and Grace Jarman Turner.

She was an avid bird watcher and growing flowers were some of her favorite things to do.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitley was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William Vernon Whitley Sr., her son William Vernon Whitley Jr., her daughter Tina Marie Faggart, her brother Buddy Turner and her sister Linda McVay.

She is survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and her niece Elizabeth Starnes as well as her dog Puddles.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove from 1:00 till 2:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm also at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
